Since his early childhood, Milko Vuille has been fascinated by the sea and by space.
After the completion of an apprenticeship in fine mechanics at the School of Engineering in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, in 1980, he served in the Swiss Air Force as a mechanic on jet fighters.

In 1982, Milko Vuille discovered the world of scuba diving and qualified as a 3* CMAS Diver. He has since been to the Galapagos, the Red Sea, the Maldives, Borneo, the Philippines, Cuba, Florida, Norway, France, Italy and Russia. He dives regularly in the lakes of Switzerland.

In 1983, he worked as a professional scuba diver for the Archaeological Museum, the "Laténium", in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

From 1984 to 2003, Milko Vuille was given the opportunity to work for Posalux, Mercedes, Bulgari, Richemont, SPIBA and DEWS, where he was entrusted with important responsibilities in a number of technical and commercial tasks.

After meeting Igor Pliusnin in 2003, Milko Vuille finally decided to give in to his passion for the submarine world, for travelling and discovering the Northern and Polar Regions. This is how ACARSA Scientific Expeditions was born.

Since his 20's, Milko Vuille has become actively involved as a race car driver and a sailor.

A keen high altitude skier, he has climbed the Monte Rosa, the highest peak in the Swiss Alps, on skis equipped with seal skins.

Fond of airplanes, he has flown as a passenger on aerobatics and supersonic flights.

He discovered the world of apnea diving with multiple world record champion Umberto Pelizzari in Sardinia, Italy, in 2004.
